1. How to set up OBS for streaming:

Before you can start accepting donations on Twitch, you need to set up OBS for live streaming. OBS is basically a software that allows you to create a custom video feed that you can stream to different sites.  It allows you to do things like stream to multiple sites simultaneously and customize your video and add things like overlays to make your streaming experience more engaging.

Here’s how you can set up OBS for live streaming on Twitch:

Step 1: Download and install OBS. Go to the OBS website https://obsproject.com and download the software for your operating system. Once downloaded, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install OBS.

Step 2: Configure OBS for streaming. Open the OBS and go to the “Settings” menu at the bottom right corner.

Step 6: Set up your Scene. Click on the “Scenes” tab and create a new scene.  You can think of a scene as a visual template that can show various elements on screen to your audience.

Step 7:  Add your sources to the scene.  Sources refers to your source of video and audio content (game capture, window capture, webcam, etc.) that is used in the OBS to create a livestream.
